What could have lead Hoganstand.com to report on the Armagh V Westmeath Round 2B Qualifier match in Mullingar in the manner they chose? Is this fake news Irish style motivated by a kind of regionalised racism?
This blog is not just necessarily about GAA reporting or any sport for that matter. It’s about a type of slanted media reporting that tacitly exists in Ireland and has done for many a year. It’s a form of media reporting that is much much worse than telling lies, as lies are eventually discovered and the liar discredited, and much more insidious.
